Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA)

The City of Powell has an established Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) in its downtown district. DORA will be in effect both days of Powell Festival from 11am – 10pm, allowing patrons who purchase alcohol in a specially marked cup at Powell Festival to take it outside the event and explore downtown Powell as long as they remain inside DORA boundaries. 

DORA drinks purchased at authorized DORA locations in downtown Powell may also be brought into Powell Festival. 

Patrons may not bring their own alcohol into Powell Festival or the DORA district.

DORA drinks may not be taken outside the DORA boundaries which are clearly marked.

Not all businesses inside the DORA boundaries permit entrance with DORA drinks, so please look for these signs before entering.
 
Patrons may not take a beverage purchased at one DORA-approved liquor establishment into another DORA-approved liquor establishment.
